IDE Academy is a master course which consists of a series of skill based workshops. Students are introduced to and get their hands dirty with a specific skill relevant for a designer. I will be hosting a workshop based on the Ethics for Designers toolkit.

To kick off a new semester of the Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) programme a range of people from practice will provide some perspective. I have been invited to share my story on how to incorporate ethics into the design process.

I will host a workshop in which we will explore, discuss and develop scenarios that shape the future in a responsible way. Participants are young professionals (0-5 years experience) from various fields with an interest or stake in the development of smart cities. During the workshop we will develop and enact future scenarios to discuss various ethical issues. 

During How Do You Do (HDYD) at Future Flux Festival, over 40 digital heroes from all over the world will share their ideas and tips & tricks. In rapidly alternating sessions they will tell you all about the development of their projects, the pitfalls and the roads to success from their own designer experience practices.

During a workshop on the ethics of health technology on May 23rd I will co-host a session with Dr. Steven Dorrestijn. The programme consists of a series of workshops intended for both research and educational staff of the HHS.

In collaboration with project studio Cornelis Serveert, Fontys Objexlab (a higher education institute focused on digital manufacturing) organised a 'Bootcamp for the Brain'. This day was focused on ethical dilemmas around emerging technologies.
